Mr. and Mrs. Valory Beesley of Port Gibson, announce the engagement of their daughter, Brianna Beesley, to Christian William Braswell, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bailey Braswell, Jr. of Ridgeland.

Miss Beesley is the granddaughter of Mrs. Velma Lee and the late Mr. Robert E. Lee and the late Mr. and Mrs. James A. Beelsey all of Port Gibson.

Mr. Braswell is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. William Frank Sistrunk of Madison and Mr. and Mrs. Roy B. Braswell, Sr. of Brandon.

Brianna is a 2011 graduate of St. Aloysius High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society and high school tennis team. She is a Cum Laude graduate from the University of Mississippi where she received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, was a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society and vice president of Social events. She also received a Master of Business Administration from Ole Miss and served as the Director of Social and Philanthropic Affairs. She is employed with PFG Precision Optics in Boulder, Colorado as a sales engineer.

Christian is a 2011 graduate of Gulfport High School, where he was student body president and a member of the National Honor Society. He received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi and was the president of the fishing team.

He is employed with State Farm Insurance in Parker, Colorado as an agent aspirant team member.

The wedding will be held at 6 p.m. Jan. 19, 2019 at The Church of the Holy Trinity in Vicksburg.

A reception will follow at the B’nai B’rith Literary Club.
