Warrants issued for shooting suspects

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office has issued warrants for two men accused of shooting another man in his home in the 7800 block of Halls Ferry Road.
The warrants charge Ashton Waters and Joshua Thomas each with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the Dec. 21 incident.
According to sheriff’s office reports, deputies were called about 1 p.m. on Dec. 21 that a man had been shot inside his home in the 7800 block of Halls Ferry Road, and the victim was able to positively identify the suspects. He is currently recovering from his wounds.
Waters, 23, is described as a black man, 6 feet tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing dreads. Thomas, 24, is described as a black male 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 250 pounds.
Both men are from Brookhaven, and Waters has family in the Port Gibson area.
