Mary Louise Foster Lewis

Mary Louise Foster Lewis died on Friday, Feb. 15, 2019. She was 94 years old.

Mary loved to garden, do crafts, and also loved her roses. She was a member of Bypass Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jennie Mae Baker McBroom and Leo McBroom; her husbands, Odes Owen Foster and Gordon Lewis; her granddaughter, Joanna Strickland; and her great-great grandson, Ryan Stinnett.

She is survived by her three son, Odes L. Foster, Leo A. Foster and Albert L. Foster; her daughter, Vera Louise Wigley; her sister, Vera L. Griffith; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild.

A visitation will be held at Glenwood Funeral Home on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019 at noon. The funeral service will follow immediately after the visitation in the Glenwood Chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Marty May, Joe Graham Jr., Michael Wigley Jr., Odes Foster Jr., Jeremy Foster and Walter Griffith Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be the elders and deacons of the church.

Dr. Willie Nettle will be officiating the service.

Also, a big “Thank You” to Vicksburg Convalescent Home and St. Jospeh Hospice for their ongoing support and loving care throughout the years.
