Students from throughout the Vicksburg Warren School District participated Thursday morning in the annual Gifted and Talented Educational Services (G.A.T.E.S.) chess tournament at Beechwood Elementary School.

He is a native of Tuscaloosa, Ala. and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in Photojournalism.
