Shirley Ann Elzie

Funeral services for Shirley Ann Elzie are to be held on Saturday, March 30, in New Mount Pilgrim M. B. Church at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jackie Griffin officiating; interment shall follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W H. Jefferson Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 29, in the funeral home from 6-7 p.m.

Shirley Ann Elzie passed away on Monday, March 18, in Merit Health River Region Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was 68.   

She was a homemaker and member of New Mount Pilgrim M. B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Mary Piggs Elzie.

She is survived by her brother, John Elzie of St. Louis, Missouri, and her sisters, Carolyn Jenkins and Mary Carr, both of St. Luis, Missouri, and her caregiver, Jacqueline Mason of Vicksburg.
