In a recent survey by the Mississippi Business Journal, Riverwalk Casino Hotel was named among the “Best Places to Work in Mississippi.” The announcement came Friday.

Riverwalk was the third place winner in the large companies category.

“We’re very honored to be listed among the best places to work,” Ginny Tzotzolas, Riverwalk Casino Hotel’s general manager, said. “We’ve made it a top priority at Riverwalk to create an enjoyable work environment that fosters both personal and professional growth.”

The “Best Places to Work” award winners and finalists are selected through their employees’ participation in anonymous online or paper surveys. The survey evaluates several factors including benefits, engagement and opportunities for advancement.

“We work hard to ensure that our team members are engaged and feel empowered,” Tzotzolas said. “Getting this honor is very gratifying in that it shows that our work is paying off.”
