Search continues for Sunday shooting suspects

Vicksburg Police are continuing their search for suspects in the Sunday morning shooting of two teenagers in the 1100 block of North Frontage Road.
Shemar Keyon Anderson, 18, and Ladelle Devoils, 19, were wounded in the 2:30 a.m. shooting. Anderson was shot in the chest and Jadariuce in the hip area.
Both were initially taken to the Merit Health River Region West Campus, 1111 North Frontage Road, which has no emergency room and then transferred to Merit Health River Region.
Anderson was later flown by air ambulance to University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was last listed in critical condition. Devoils remained at River Region, where he was last listed in serious condition.
According to police reports, officers responding to the 2:30 a.m. call of shots fired in the 1100 block of North Frontage Road found multiple shell casings on the ground but no victims.
Minute later, police received a 911 call of two gunshot victims who had arrived at the Merit Health River Region West Campus.
During a preliminary investigation, authorities confirmed the shooting victims were in the 1100 block of North Frontage Road at the time of the earlier shots fired call.
