Police arrested Jamaris McDaniel, 19, 102 Boykins Lane, and Lamar Gray Jr., 18, 431 Ridgewood St., on one count each of residential burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime. Warrants were issued for Demond Thomas, 18, of Vicksburg, on the same charges.

McDaniel, who was wounded by Johnson, was treated and released from Merit Health River Region, and is being held without bail in the Warren County Jail. Gray is being held without bail in Madison County. They also will have initial appearances Wednesday in Municipal Court.

After Johnson left the house, police issued a description of his car, and he was later stopped by police. The marijuana was found after he gave officers permission to search his car.
