For those traveling on Interstate 20 eastbound near the 61 North exit should consider a different route as police and emergency medical crews are responding to an overturned log truck at that exit.

Logs are reportedly blocking the road and the driver of the log truck is injured.

The city and officials with the Mississippi Department of Transportation have closed the ramp onto 61 North and expect the closure to go late into the evening as crews work to clear the logs.
