Funeral services for Lucille Clay will be Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Holly Grove M.B. Church. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery with Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be Friday from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home and at the church on Saturday from 10 until the hour of service.

Mrs. Clay died Jan. 22, 2020, at her home. She was 85.

Retired from Jitney Jungle and Save and Save Supermarkets, she was one of seven children of Ed and Willie Bell Sheard.

Survivors include her son, Micheal G. Clay (Deidre), Houston, Texas; one brother, Rev. James Sheard (Lucile); a sister, Gwendolyn Ware, all of Vicksburg; two grandchildren, Jeremy and Lyndsey Clay of Houston; a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and other relatives.
