Alice Hancock

Alice Hancock, age 83, passed away Feb. 4, 2020, at home after a brief illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy G. Pettway and Addie M. (Worthy) Pettway and James Hancock Sr.

She is survived by James Hancock Jr. of Valley Park; two daughters, Jean Hancock (James Faulkner) and Janice Bishop (Jim) of Vicksburg; and special friend James Cox. Pallbearers will be John Erwin, Glen Kittrell, Rodney Porter, Craig Wipperling, Steven Ford, James Faulkner.

Honorary pallbearers will be Amedisys Home Health and St. Joseph Hospice. Thank you for being there with such caring hands.

Visitation will begin at noon until 2 p.m. at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 1830 Cherry St. on Friday, Feb. 7, with service immediately following. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
