Here are the local educators who have been nominated in this year’sVicksburg-Warren County Chamber of Commerce’s Teacher of the Year awards.
The chamber will select and announce one elementary and one secondary teacher of the year at the chamber luncheon today. The winner of each award will receive $1,000 from Ameristar Casino and the runner-up for each award will receive $500 from Mutual Credit Union.
Thanks to the teachers, administrators and officials with the Vicksburg-Warren Chamber of Commerce for helping us as we worked to photograph each of the nominees and tell their stories over the past few weeks.
We look forward to honoring these tremendous educators each and every year.
