Warren County sees another one-day spike in new COVID-19 cases

The number of confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus in Warren County jumped again Saturday, growing to 45 overall; an increase of six overnight.
Friday, the county had experienced its single largest one-day increase in this pandemic when seven new cases were reported.
Overall, the number of cases statewide grew to 5,178, an increase of 284 cases. There were 12 new virus-related deaths reported Saturday, bringing the number of deaths statewide to 221
The number of virus-related deaths in Warren County remains at two.
The number of cases reported in Claiborne County also jumped Saturday, increasing to 18 confirmed cases.
The Mississippi State Department of Health has not yet started reporting the number of those who have recovered from the virus.
