State reports less than 200 new COVID-19 cases Sunday

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Mississippi grew by 173 overnight, but in Warren County, the number remained stable.
In the latest report by the Mississippi State Department of Health, there were no new cases reported in Warren County, leaving the number of cases reported during the pandemic at 133.
Statewide, the total number of cases reported during the pandemic now stands at 11,296, with 521 virus-related deaths. The number of deaths grew by 11 overnight.
In Claiborne County, the number of confirmed cases now stands at 49, while the number in Sharkey remains at six. Yazoo County reported 188 cases, while Issaquena remains the only county in the state to not yet report a positive case.
In Hinds County, the number of cases increased to 773, the most of any county in the state. Hinds is also reporting 22 virus-related deaths.
