Multiple units with the Vicksburg Fire Department responded to a house fire at 305 Warren St.
The initial call came at around 12:15 p.m. Monday.
Deputy fire chief Derrick Stamps, whose home is behind the Warren Street home, said he saw flames coming from the roof and a back window on the home’s east side and called 911. Trucks from Station 8 responded to the fire and began fighting the fire in the home’s interior.
The crew from Ladder 3 vented the roof to allow heat to escape.
The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
