The Vicksburg Police Department is investigating yet another report of a burglary from Red Dot Self-Storage on Indiana Avenue.
Monday morning, officers responded to a call to the facility in reference to a theft. The victim reported someone stole an acoustic drum set valued at $1,500.
Monday’s incident took place at a facility on Indiana Avenue, but it is similar to the recent reports of theft at the Red Dot Self-Storage facility on Wisconsin Avenue.
Last week, the department announced the arrest of Christopher Shaun Johnson, 34, and Timothy Ray Wilkerson, 29, both of Vicksburg, in connection to recent thefts at the facility located in the 3400 block of Wisconsin Avenue.
Johnson was charged with two counts of commercial burglary, had his bond set at $15,000 and his case was bound over to the Warren County grand jury. Wilkerson was also charged with two counts of commercial burglary. His bond was set at $30,000 and his case was also bound over to the grand jury.
On June 5, officers responded to another theft at the Wisconsin Avenue facility, where a victim reported someone stole two Ol’Man climbing stands, a Mathew solo cam hunting bow, deer cameras and hunting bags.
