Vicksburg police are looking for an individual in connection with the Saturday shooting of a man at the Cypress Hill Apartments, 402 Locust St.

The shooting occurred at 5:16 p.m. Saturday. Officers arriving at the scene found a 53-year-old man shot once in his left thigh. He was taken to University of Mississippi Medical Center for treatment. Information on his condition was unavailable. A 9mm shell casing was recovered at the scene.

The case remains under investigation.
