Recently, students at Redwood Elementary stepped out of their classrooms to show support for one of their own.
The school recently organized a drive-by parade to allow students, teachers and administrators a chance to encourage Braxten Daffron, 4, a pre-K student at Redwood who is battling leukemia.
In addition to students and teachers waving and displaying signs, the Redwood Volunteer Fire Department also participated, offering Daffron the chance to take part in a memorable class photo.
