Scott Wallace qualified for the state meet in two individual events and two relays to lead a strong showing by Warren Central’s swim team Saturday at the MHSAA Class II North State meet.

Wallace qualified in the 100 meter butterfly and 50 freestyle. He teamed with Adon Byrd, Mateo Byrd and Davis Green to advance to the state meet in the 200 medley relay, and with Green, Hayden Jones and Mateo Byrd in the 200 freestyle relay.

Green qualified in the 50 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke, Adon Byrd in the 100 butterfly, and Mateo Byrd in the 500 freestyle.

The Class II state meet is this Saturday, Oct. 24, at noon at the Tupelo Aquatic Center.
