Jessica Ransom, 29, of Vicksburg was arrested Thursday on a warrant for hindering prosecution.

This comes as a result of her involvement with the Nov. 17 shooting death of Aleigha Sanders of Port Gibson.

Ransom appeared in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Thursday before Judge Angela Carpenter. Her bond was set at $50,000 and she was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.
