Several years ago, the Vicksburg Kiwanis Club recognized a need for providing Christmas Decorations to needy families in the community. The Kiwanis Club partnered with the United Way of West Central Mississippi to identify families in the community who are not financially able to purchase Christmas decorations. The club then acquired a Christmas tree along with other suitable decorations for those families. This year, the club partnered with Home Depot which provided the Christmas trees for and decorations this year. Club members delivered the decorations to the families in need.
