Published 12:38 pm Wednesday, December 20, 2023

Even without two of their best players, the Vicksburg Gators made easy work of Clinton Christian on Tuesday.

Michael Johnson scored 11 of his 16 points in the first half, and Kealon Bass and Jadarius Henderson finished with 10 points each as the Gators beat Clinton Christian 61-36 in a boys’ basketball game.

The Gators played without leading scorers Davian Williams and Kameryn Bailey, who missed the game because of illness. In their absence, 11 players scored and several others stepped up into bigger roles.
