The 7th Annual Academy Showcase & Open House will be held today (Wed., Jan. 10) and Thursday on the campuses of Vicksburg High School and Warren Central High School.

According to Vicksburg Warren School District officials, open houses for all eighth-grade students will be held during school hours both days, while doors will open to the community for high school open houses from 5 until 7 p.m. 

Warren Central High School will host Wednesday’s open house, while Vicksburg High School will host their event Thursday.

School officials said some of the events slated for the open houses include: tours of the new high school facilities; information about the Vicksburg Warren College & Career Academies and the Pathways offered at the high schools; talks with students about Academy and CTE projects; a meet-and-greet with academy students, teachers, and counselors; a chance to speak with students from River City Early College High School; and an opportunity to discover clubs and programs available to all students.
