Vicksburg High track athlete Shaniyah Walker won the girls’ 400 meters and the 4×400 meter relay at the Meridian Invitational on Monday.

Walker had a time of 1:01.48 in the 400 meters. On the 4×400 relay she teamed with Keekee Curry, Terri Boyd and Mackenzie Edmond to clock a winning time of 4:41.

Walker also joined Boyd, Amiya Hall and Jakayla Brooks on the 4×200 meter relay team that finished second in 1:49.87.
