Friday’s pleasant weather was an added bonus for a crowd that showed up at the Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation (SCHF) for the finale of the Classics in the Courtyard spring series.

Beginning in April, the series included a local performer and food from a local restaurant each Friday through May 10, culminating in this week’s performance by Fred T. & The Band and lunch by Tommy’s BBQ. 

This spring’s lineup of performers also included Keys Vs. Strings, Howl & The Big Bad Wolves, and TMurray. Also providing food for the events were Goldie’s Express, Billy’s Italian Restaurant, and Don Ho’s BBQ and Deli.

SCHF officials said the Classics in the Courtyard events will return to Vicksburg this fall.
