In a post to social media, Waffle House officials have announced a change to its weekend store hours in Vicksburg.

According to Hope Baker, who identified herself on Facebook as a division manager for Waffle House, all four Vicksburg locations will begin serving only to-go orders Fridays and Saturdays from 11 p.m. until 6:30 a.m. beginning Friday, July 12.

Baker cited safety concerns as the reason for the decision.

“We will also increase security,” Baker said in the post. “I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but ultimately the decision is being made for the safety of our employees and customers.”
