Mary Louise Wilborn

Mary Louise “Lou” Wilborn, 75, of D’Iberville, Miss., departed this earth Wednesday, August 28, in Gulfport.
Mary was born in Vicksburg July 4, 1949, the daughter of Maxwell and Mary Prince. Mary completed Rosa A. Temple High School in Vicksburg and attended Mississippi Valley State University. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in mathematics and science, she graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Master’s of Science in education.
Mary was married to John Lee Wilborn on April 11, 1972, for a total of 18 years. Mary is survived by two sisters, Theresa Rogers of Cleveland, Ohio and Beaulah Dickey of Ocean Springs, Miss.; two sisters-in-law, Anne Prince of Cleveland, Ohio and Adeline Prince of Jackson, Miss.; four children, Derrick Wilborn of Los Angeles, Rosa Hall of Long Beach, Miss., Khalilah Ramsey of Gulfport, and Tomorah Wilborn of San Francisco; 13 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 7, at 1 p.m. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
