Mrs. Mattie Ruth Sims passed away Sunday, Aug. 25, in Gary, Ind. She was 81.

Graveside services celebrating her life will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, with Dr. General A. Bryant Jr. officiating. Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
