Funeral services for George Dennis “GMoney” Moore, II are to be held on Saturday, Oct. 26 at First Baptist Church, 1511 Lane Alley, at 1 p.m. with the Reverend Michael Williams officiating. Interment shall follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 25 in the funeral home from 5 to 6 p.m.

George Dennis Moore, II passed away on Saturday, Oct. 19 in his home surrounded by family and friends. He was 47.  He had worked as a lead sanitation worker for Tyson Foods.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Henry Williams and Bernetha Killian.

He is survived by his six sons, George Moore, III, of Vicksburg; DeKourious Curtis of Keys, Florida; Keithen Mayfield of AL; Jaylen, D. Moore of Vicksburg; Kentarious Moore of Rolling Fork, MS; and ShaQuarrius Bracey of Houston, TX; his daughters, Beatrice R. Porter of Vicksburg; Gamyraca Foster of Vicksburg; Geliesha Parker of Vicksburg; and Layla F. Moore of Vicksburg; his father, Joe Patterson; mother, Gwendolyn Patterson; his brother, Corey Moore of Vicksburg; and his sisters Angela Killian Rankin of Edmond, OK; Minikka Turner of Vicksburg; Sherika Moore of Vicksburg; and Candice Moore of Vicksburg; paternal grandmother, Cora Jones; and a grandson, George Dennis Moore, IV.
