The Vicksburg Warren School District (VWSD) is inviting community members to join the newly formed Strategic Planning Coalition.

“(This is) a collaborative effort that brings together community members, parents, educators and local leaders to help shape the future of education in our district,” VWSD Superintendent Dr. Tori Holloway said. “The Vicksburg Warren School District is committed to ensuring the success of every student, and we believe that they key to a brighter future is working together.”

Holloway said becoming a member of the coalition provides the opportunity to:

• Provide input on educational policies and programs;
• Advocate for resources and support for students and teachers;
• Share ideas to promote student success;
• Be an active part of decision-making that impacts the future of our district;

Holloway said VWSD encourages those interested to complete the form by Oct. 28, so that they can begin planning the first meeting.

“Together, we can build a stronger community for our students and ensure that Vicksburg Warren School District continues to provide the highest quality education,” he said.
