As Warren County counts down to the 7 p.m. deadline to vote, local officials said polling places have been crowded most of the day.

“It’s been very busy all day,” Warren County Election Commission Chairman and District 4 Commissioner Sara Dionne said. “As for how this compares to four years ago, I’m not certain, but we’ve been busy.”

As of 3 p.m., 10,516 votes had been recorded across Warren County’s 23 precincts.

Absentee ballots totaled 3,068.
