Voting is open in The Vicksburg Post’s Athlete of the Week contest.
This week’s nominees are basketball players Zion Harvey (Vicksburg), Carson Gleese (St. Aloysius) and Brycen Jones (Vicksburg); and Warren Central football player Tekarius Qualls.
Voting is open until midnight Tuesday, and you can vote as many times as you want until the deadline.

Zion Harvey, a senior with Vicksburg High’s girls basketball team, scored 20 and 21 points in two games last week at the Innisfree Hotels Beach Basketball Tournament in Gulf Breeze, Fla. She had 21 points and six assists in a 62-26 victory over Gulf Breeze.
Carson Gleese, a member of St. Aloysius’ boys basketball team, had 22 points and 11 rebounds in a 66-33 win vs. Riverfield on Nov. 25, and 26 points and eight rebounds in a 71-59 loss to Tri-County on Nov. 26. He has scored 20 points or more in three consecutive games.
Brycen Jones, a sophomore with Vicksburg High’s boys basketball team, averaged 8.5 points in two games and was selected to the all-tournament team at the Innisfree Hotels Beach Basketball Tournament in Gulf Breeze, Fla., Nov. 25-26.
Tekarius Qualls, a senior defensive lineman with Warren Central’s football team, had a sack, a forced fumble, and two tackles for loss in a 23-10 loss to Grenada on Nov. 29.
