Three people have been arrested in connection with a shooting that took place Tuesday morning at a downtown gas station in Vicksburg after a joint effort between the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and the Vicksburg Police Department led to the arrest of the suspected shooter Friday.
WCSO officials said a tip Friday morning led law enforcement to a house in the county where 20-year-old Rashad Williams was found hiding in a car inside the home’s garage.
Williams, who was later charged with aggravated assault and is being held in Vicksburg on a $250,000 bond, is suspected of the shooting that struck a man multiple times at the Fastway service station on the corner of Clay and Cherry streets.
Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said the trio is charged with hindering prosecution after Warren County District Attorney Ricky Smith advised deputies to make the arrests.
Cameron Eaddy, Tyelik Eaddy and Kaliyah London were each charged with hindering prosecution and each received a $5,000 bond Friday in Warren County court.
