Building a Mississippi Snowman in Marcus Bottom

Published 3:26 pm Tuesday, December 17, 2024

JaLorine Adams puts a happy face on a Mississippi Snowman — made from tires painted white — Tuesday afternoon at the corner of Halls Ferry Road and Bowmar Avenue.

Adams was helping to bring some holiday cheer to the Marcus Bottom neighborhood with the community project. Vicksburg Family Development’s boys club also helped with the project by painting the tires. It’s the second year in a row that the Marcus Bottom community has come together to build the snowman.
