At the Dec.12 meeting of the Vicksburg Convention and Visitors Bureau (VCVB), visitor reports for October 2024 were released and are as follows:

• 26 group tours.
• 85 car tours, 218 passengers.
• 26 regular bus/vans, 789 passengers.
• 34 riverboat buses, 1,550 passengers.
• 3,131 visitors were welcomed at the Visitor Information Center.
• The top state visiting in October was Mississippi, with 574 visitors. Alabama was second with 338.
• Total number of international visitors in October was 143.
• Top country in October was United Kingdom, with 44 visitors. Canada was second with 24.
• 38,883 visitors in October at the Vicksburg National Military Park.
• 1,504 visitors in October at the Lower Mississippi River Museum.
• 428 visitors in October at the Southern Heritage Air Museum.
• 1,059 visitors in October at the Old Court House Museum.
• 303 visitors in October at the Catfish Row Museum.
• 1,881 visitors in October at the Vicksburg Civil War Museum.
• 1,170 visitors in October at the Old Depot Museum.
