The Vicksburg Missy Gators fell behind early and couldn’t quite get back over the hump, as they lost 49-47 to Terry in a holiday girls basketball tournament game Friday in Madison.

Terry (9-4) took an early six-point lead in the first quarter and maintained it most of the way as foul trouble mounted for the Missy Gators. Four of Vicksburg’s five starters finished with at least four fouls, and two fouled out.

Zion Harvey led Vicksburg (10-5) with 19 points, four blocks and four steals. Jordan Grace added 18 points, and Cynia Johnson finished with six points and eight rebounds.
