Jones College basketball player Malik Franklin, a Vicksburg High alum, was named to the Faculty List Honor Roll for having a GPA of between 3.0 and 3.49 for the fall semester.

He is averaging 7.4 points per game this season for the Bobcats. He scored eight, and also had three assists and two steals, in a 90-78 win over Mississippi Delta on Thursday.

Jones (14-2) is ranked No. 11 in the NJCAA’s Division I, and will play at Itawamba Community College Monday at 7:30 p.m.
